Why is the “full, conscious and active participation” of the people so illusive in churches across denominations? This workshop will explore a series of challenges – liturgical, pastoral and cultural, which may inhibit rather than encourage the sung prayer of the liturgical assembly. The workshop will feature a musical “coda” with an opportunity to sing through fresh arrangements of traditional hymns!
