Cindy Ripley is currently the Senior Educational Consultant for iTheatrics, leading workshops with kids and teachers across the country, as well as being the “go to” guru for MTI’s online Show Support for the Broadway Junior Collection. Cindy piloted the first Broadway Junior production of Annie JR., and developed the first Broadway Junior Director’s Guide. She was proud to be selected for USA Today’s All Star Teacher Team for 2005 and most recently has served as a teaching artist for The President’s Committee on the Arts and Humanities. Cindy is co-author of “The iTheatrics Method: The Quintessential Guide to Creating Quality Musical Theatre Programs” published by GIA Publications, Inc., and finds the recipe comprised of young people, teachers, parents, musical theatre, and enthusiasm priceless!

The iTheatrics track at the GIA Fall Institute is designed to empower participants to create dynamic and sustainable music theater programs in both school and community settings. It is geared toward anyone who does musical theater with young people grades K through 12. The workshops in the iTheatrics track emphasize experiential learning, active skill building, and an overall focus on fun.
