Clinician: Michael Silhavy

While developing vocal skills stands at the center of our work as choir directors, this workshop will explore the non-vocal skills and disciplines we need to cultivate in our volunteer choirs. Topics to be addressed include attendence expectations, ministering verus volunteering, teaching singers how to rehearse on their own, morale and community building, liturgical formation, developing rhythm skills, rehearsal decorum and attentiveness, marking music, and much more.
